Chocolate Peanut Butter Pretzel Flowers

Sharing is caring!

Spring is here, the weather is warming up and it’s time to welcome all the new flowers. Spring is one of my favorite times of year because just when we are completely over the cold winter, the weather starts to warm up, the trees bloom and it just puts me in a better mood. This is why it’s a perfect time for Chocolate Peanut Butter Pretzel Flowers.

With Easter and Spring Break approaching, these are easy-to-make treats for the kids that they can gobble up between homework and sports. Not only are Spring M&Ms my favorite, I also like to make these for parties, backyard BBQs and basically any Spring get-together.

SNACK + CRAFT TIME

I love snacks that can double as craft time with the kids. If the kids can help make the snack and have a good time doing it, it’s a WIN in my book. These pretzel flowers don’t have to be perfect so they are a perfect craft time activity. Since kid’s fingers are smaller, they actually might be better at assembling the M&M flowers that you do.

I like to put out a few bowls of Spring M&Ms and let the kids create their own flowers. Some do all one color and others mix and match. That’s what makes it fun.

PEANUT BUTTER OR NOT TO PEANUT BUTTER

There are different variation of pretzel flowers you can make. You can use white or dark chocolate. You can also leave out the peanut butter and just use chocolate and M&Ms. No harm no foul with however you decide to make them. I absolutely love peanut butter, chocolate and pretzels together so I always add the melted peanut butter.

WHICH CHOCOLATE TO USE?

You can use a variety of chocolates to place on top of the pretzels to connect the “flower M&Ms” to. Like I said, you can use white but I prefer dark chocolate. You do you. I use Ghirardelli Melting Wafers. Not only do they come in white and dark chocolate but they are delicious and melt well.
