Golden Gate Bridge

This obviously has to be my first pick. Don’t forget to take your picture in front of it!

Located on University Avenue, this place is full of hideouts, boats, and the most exciting zipline that kids can ride down.

This place is free the first Wednesday of every month and boasts a giant two level warehouse where kids can learn about science.

The Ferry Building

Built in 1898 and totally renovated, this place has restaurants, a farmers market, and specialty food stores.

Angel Island

The largest natural island in the bay, it has bike rentals, hiking trails, lovely beaches, and tram tours.

Ghiradelli Square

You can NOT travel to San Francisco without stopping in Ghiradelli Square to get the best ice cream sundae of your life. Make sure to buy some chocolate to take home with you, too!

Crissy Field

A former air-field, turned park and the perfect place to have a picnic and play.

San Francisco Zoo

If your kids are animal lovers then you can’t miss the zoo.

Shopping, restaurants, and a huge park. This is a classic place to visit while in town.

Steinhart Aquarium

Regular price is pretty steep at $25 but this aquarium offers free days and is located in beautiful Golden Gate Park.

Crazy, creepy, and cool things I bet you’ve never seen before – all housed under one roof.
