In honor of National Coffee Day on September 29, I am sharing some homemade coffee ideas with you. Everyone could use a little more coffee in their lives, especially busy, tired parents. So next time you reach for your morning cup of Joe, try one of these recipes instead!
Iced Vanilla Latte. I thought we’d start things off with my favorite kind of coffee. Something about an iced vanilla latte just makes me happy. It’s refreshing, sweet, and a great morning pick me up. I can’t wait to try this recipe from Natural Homemade Living.
Frappuccinos. If you love coffee and ice cream, than this recipe from Savory Sweet Life is for you! The perfect blend of sweet and creamy, plus there’s coffee!
Americano. This recipe from Yes I Want Cake is for the classy and sophisticated coffee drinker. An Americano is for those who want their coffee plain and black and strong!
Coffee Ice Cream. This recipe for coffee ice cream from The Hobby Room Diaries is the perfect cold treat on a hot day. Creamy, smooth, delicious!
Coffee Milkshake. This milkshake is spiked with rum to make the perfect dessert drink for adults from A Cozy Kitchen. You can easily leave the liquor out if you don’t drink and it would still be as equally delicious.
Coffee Syrup. Coffee is great all by itself but I always prefer mine with just a hint of flavor. A Beautiful Mess has us covered with three recipes for vanilla, honey, and lavender syrups. The lavender sounds delicious- so light and flowery!
Iced Coffee. Here’s a simple recipe from Brown Eyed Baker for easy, do it yourself iced coffee. I love iced coffee on warm sunny days, especially in the morning before the day starts!
Coffee Iced Cubes. Isn’t this idea from Good Ideas For You clever?! I think it’s a genius idea to make coffee iced cubes and have them ready and waiting for you in the freezer.
Pumpkin Spiced Latte. Of course I had to share a recipe for pumpkin spiced lattes like this one from Recipe Girl because it’s fall and that means pumpkin flavors so try this one out!
Coconut Whippuccino. This fancy recipe from K Blog has one shot of espresso, is gorgeous, and serves up in a martini glass.
