During the month of September I’m totally on my lunchbox game. In a month or two, well, think of my kids and their lackluster lunches. Right now though, and hopefully for a few more weeks, I’m going all out! Creative meals, fun notes, and a folded napkin to encourage manners. You too? I mean, lunch prep can be fun and it’s such a great touchpoint during the day. Lately, my notes have been awesome kid-friendly jokes – I mean, who doesn’t want to have a little giggle at lunchtime? Plus, it helps with reading practice!
I polled my kids and a few of their friends for some of their favorite jokes. Twenty in all … one for each school day for a whole month! They’re short and hilarious, the perfect lunchbox addition! Write one each day or jot them all down now and you’ll be set through October!
