We all know how important sleep is, right? Without enough sleep, we become irritable, cranky, impatient and basically hard to live with, right? Well, when you are a parent, sleep is limited so you really have to make sure your environment (aka mattress!) is perfect for when you do get the chance to get some shut eye. The worst thing that could happen is that when you do finally get the chance to sleep and you can’t sleep because you aren’t comfortable. That’s why a good mattress is key!
Think about this- we spend between 6-10 hours (ha! 10 hours – not if you’re a parent of a young child!) a day in our beds. That is a good chunk of time so having a good mattress seems like a no brainer.
It’s not that easy though. Not all mattresses are created equal. I don’t know about you but I just don’t feel comfortable sleeping on a mattress that is covered in chemicals. I want one that is eco-friendly, non-toxic AND comfortable. You know what? I found it.
After having our old mattress for 15 years, I knew it was time for a new one. Our mattress hunt began and we got what I think is the perfect mattress. Yep, the Zenhaven by Saavta was the one we got and it’s amazing!
