Oh, the beloved crock pot. If you’re anything like me, it’s probably one of your favorite appliances. So to help you out during this crazy holiday rush and the winter cold, we’ve rounded up some great crock pot recipes in honor of every mom out there who just wants to throw some ingredients in, and have it do all the work.
Vegetarian Chili– This yummy chili recipe from Blissfully Domestic is vegetarian, healthy, and simple to make. Packed full of delicious vegetables and lots of beans full of protein and fiber, this is a great warm dish to serve up this winter.
Potato Cheesy Soup– This easy-to-make soup keeps you warm from the inside out. It is a staple on Hollie’s winter dinner schedule!
Chipotle Barbacoa- A little bit on the spicy side, but just lessen the chipotle peppers if you prefer, but extremely delicious, this recipe from Against All Grain is a huge hit in our home. Moist, flavorful and very filling!

Pot Roast– Kelly The Kitchen Kop shares a pot roast recipe that is easy to customize to your liking. Pot roast in the crock pot is one of my go-to recipes because it’s always a hit. The meat is always cooked perfectly and it’s easy to throw in vegetables like carrots and potatoes!

Queso Dip– A great game day snack recipe from Brown Eyed Baker. Leave the beef out if you’re vegetarian and serve with chips or veggies!
And for dessert…..
Brownies- Who knew you could make brownies in a crock pot?! This recipe from Practical Stewardship only calls for a few ingredients, the crock pot does almost all of the work, and they sound delicious!
