STROLLER SEAT
The Thule Shine stroller seat accommodates a newborn up to 49 lbs. It measures 11″ wide with a 22″ seat back and 24″ from back of seat to canopy. The one-handed, deep, near-flat seat recline is great for baby to nap on the go and the reversible seat is fantastic to allow baby to face parent or out at the world. The 5-point, adjustable harness is easy to adjust but the buckle isn’t our favorite because it can feel like a puzzle when strapping your child in the seat. The seat has an adjustable, removable baby bumper bar and adjustable leg rest.
CANOPY
Full-coverage is key when it comes to stroller canopies and the Thule shines in this category. The large, two-panel canopy features a pop-out sun visor and an additional 3rd panel that unzips to make the canopy HUGE. It’s so big that it fold down past the baby bumper bar. In that 3rd canopy panel, there is a mesh peek-a-boo window (with cover) to now only allow you to peek in on your little rider but to also allow air to circulate through the seat.
HANDLEBAR
The handlebar on the stroller is adjustable (yay!!) and telescopes from 36″ to 41″ from ground to handle. It should be good for taller and shorter parents alike.
STORAGE BASKET
Storage baskets are real estate on a stroller that you want plenty of. The Thule shines in that departments as well with a great, easy-to-access basket underneath the seat that can easily accommodate a large diaper bag plus some loose baby essentials.
STROLLER WHEELS
The Thule Shine rolls on 7″ hard rubber wheels and features all-wheel suspension to give baby a smooth ride. There is also a one step, flip flop-friendly brake to lock the stroller into place.
STROLLER FOLD
Folding the Thule Shine is easy to do and can technically be done with just one hand. Flip the stroller seat all the way forward, make sure your handle bar is in the shortest position, and using either your right or left hand, squeeze the handlebar buttons to fold down the rest of the stroller into a standing fold. It’s a compact package that weighs in at just over 21 lbs so it is easy to travel with.
