Peg Perego Polaris Slingshot Kid Vehicle Ride-on Review

It’s that time of the year again! Time to take a look at the Hottest Holiday Toys of the Season with Baby Gizmo. Today we are looking at a big gift that we are sure the 4-8 year old crowd will LOVE. It’s the Peg Perego Polaris Slingshot that is modeled after the full-size, adult Slingshot.

One of the most favorite toys at our house is hands down the outdoor, battery-operated, ride-on vehicles. Since my oldest daughter received her first red Mustang ride-on when she was 3 years old, they have been hooked. These battery-operated vehicles are not only a favorite but hands-down the MOST PLAYED WITH TOYS at our house. No matter what season, these ride-on cars get played with year after year. Our ride-ons are loved so much that we’ve replaced batteries and wheels just to get extra life out of them.

The new Peg Perego Polaris Slingshot is a two-seater 12v ride-on vehicle with 3 speeds – 2.5 mph, 5 mph and reverse. It features large, rugged, plastic tires that can tackle all kinds of terrain from concrete to asphalt to dirt. We were super surprised at how well it actually handled the dirt! The only thing we would change is to add some rubber strips or something to the wheels to make them last longer. With typical plastic wheels on these types of vehicles, you’ll get about 18 months of use out of them before they start to wear down too much or holes will start to show up.

I knew as soon as our 7 year old Baby Gizmo tester laid eyes on the Slingshot, he would love it! He hopped right in and took off. No one loves his vehicles more than this kid.

To help you with your holiday shopping, our Lil’ Baby Gizmo tester shows you the ins and outs of the Peg Perego Polaris Slingshot in today’s Baby Gizmo video. The video may feature a little drone coverage and confrontation with the police as well. 🙂
