CINNAMON ROLL SUGAR COOKIES RECIPE

Sharing is caring!

Since I’ve been baking the same beloved cookies for my family recently due to the holidays, I decided it was time to try something new. Luckily, it was a total win with these Cinnamon Roll Sugar Cookies. They were easy to make, deliciously soft and the whole family loved them. They taste exactly like a cinnamon roll but in sugar cookie form.

Everyone who knows me, knows I absolutely love to make cookies. I’m not picky, I’ll make any cookies. Chocolate, peanut butter, sugar, oatmeal – you name it – I’ll bake it. That’s why I wanted to share this fantastic cookie recipe with you today that puts a spin on the traditional cinnamon roll and tops it with cream cheese frosting. Yum.

  • 1 teaspoon vanilla
  • 1-2 teaspoons heavy cream (or milk)

DIRECTIONS:

TO MAKE CINNAMON ROLL SUGAR COOKIES: In a mixer, beat together the butter and sugar until light and fluffy. Add the vanilla and then the eggs one at a time and mix well. Add the flour, baking powder, cinnamon and salt and mix. Chill dough for 30 minutes.
